Work of course intervenes a lot but apart from that I've had some great moments in this year. Castlefest was a blast as always and I have been able to visit a few friends. Next week I'll have a talk with one of my supervisors about my work. Truly if there is something I am completely relaxed about its that. In all honestly they can't afford it to send me off and train a new one again...so I think I'm safe and I am good at several areas at work, so I'm not too worried.
My drawing has been pulled back a little, this thanks to that damnable scanner of mine so expect a post explosion filled with new stuff soon. Also I'm quite busy with watercolours and paint, so expect a few of those aswell.
My writing has died out a bit, I needed a break from rpgs, there wasn't enough own creative mind from the other players to let the story roll properly and at times I simply was too tired to even begin.
My folks are as always damning me to the seven hells and back, so I get the feeling I need to move and be out of their hair.
And I've been working on my lists so here are the top choices and reads now.
Godly men:
1) Richard Armitage still number one, he is just too smexy watch him in the last episodes of the Vicar of Dibley and you'll understand. I want an accountant too!
2) Gerard Butler, I am going to see PS I love you and I am sure he'll just melt my heart again as he has done over and over and over...
3) A new one: Dan Stevens, if you don't know him watch the new sense and sensibility from the BBC, god I have never imagined Edward Ferrars to be sooo...hmmmm
Anime's to watch are:
1) Utawarerumono - Possibly one of my all time favourite, fantasy setting, good plot and cute and characters for whom you start to care.
2) Library Wars - Short series that captured my heart because of the real try to build up a relationship and all that comes with it, not just head over heels flings not they actually build up the suspense, also just brilliant when it comes to the humour and with a few unexpected twists and turns. One of my favs as well.
3) High School Rumble - Ridiculous humor combined with triangles and funny situations, definetly good for a laugh!
4) Earl and Fairy - A nice bit short series filled with romance, celtic myths and humour.
5) Saiunkoku Monogatari - It has it all, humour, romance, a decent plot if not several and good and decent artwork. Only too bad they've only made two seasons. So watch watch watch!
Worth to read:
1) Abarat - Clive Barker; Nice series and I am waiting for part three, its just too strange to explain it all.
2) A song of Ice and Fire series, just read them and you'll understand, George please hurry up with the next part!
3) Julliet Marillier's Seven Waters series, brilliant read, if you like celtic myths this is just the thing for you.
